After a system has been modelled, it is sometimes useful to edit it into segment lengths that are commercially available. The Split segment tool is an easy way to cut ducts, pipes or cable trays into pre-defined lengths.

 

The tool automatically adds couplings between the segments or fittings and takes the length of the coupling into consideration when the splitting is made.
